MONTH BY MONTHLate May–June and September–early October: mild weather, fewer people than midsummer, and fall color peaks around mid-October.
July, August and the October foliage weekends are busiest. Cadillac Mountain sunrise needs a vehicle reservation in season.
Summers are cool and often foggy; winters are cold and snowy. Part of the Park Loop Road closes from December to mid-April.
